20tele.com ↗ENGINEERING / PEOPLE / PROVENANCE
Open-source community modules, real telecom operations and a decade of work with Asterisk and FreePBX are the background to this independent experiment in autonomous calling.
PROJECT AUTHOR
Kieran is an open-source FreePBX community-module developer and Head of Product at FreePBX UK. Public repositories include Registration Watch, Repeat Caller and Concurrency Count. The original Dial-Tone Windows softphone is a separate MicroSIP-derived project; AI Dial-Tone applies its diagnostic and pre-call readiness philosophy to software agents.
This work is currently in Kieran's personal development space and is being prepared as an Egyptian Eyes project. No live Egyptian Eyes calling service is implied.
His background includes developing FreePBX provisioning and installation tools and real operational experience with SIP trunking, Asterisk, PJSIP and customer telephone systems.

freepbx.uk ↗THE LINEAGE
The original Windows project established the standard: a caller should be able to check registration, SIP response and local audio readiness, hear a local tone, and inspect a clear trace before dialling. The AI project carries the principle forward with structured preflight evidence, not native Windows binaries or borrowed branding.
